Write down your goals. When you plan and track them, you’ll feel more accountable to reach them. If something comes up and you fail to complete the activity, highlight it. Aim high, but be realistic and don’t overschedule. That way, you’ll feel accomplished when you cross those goals off your list!

Putting your wellness first doesn’t have to be complicated. JFS Orlando is here to help with a FAMILY of services and programs designed just for you. Visit JFSorlando.org or call (407) 644-7593 to learn more.

Seeking Support in Times of Grief

Seeking support for grief can feel like a big step. Grief affects us all differently, but that doesn’t mean you have to grieve alone. You may wonder if you’re ready to open up about the intense feelings you’re experiencing. You may feel too vulnerable to share your grief with others. Joining a formal support group may feel like too big a risk. These concerns are perfectly normal.

If you’re coping with the loss of a loved one, Jewish Pavilion is here to help. We offer a free grief group that is encouraging, supportive, and strictly confidential. Through this six-week program, participants process their grief together through a Jewish lens, walking with one another on a difficult but rewarding journey of transformation. The program runs twice a year in spring and fall at a local senior care community.

To register for our grief group beginning in May 2021, contact Nancy Ludin at NancyLudin@JewishPavilion.org or (407) 678-9363.
