Teen Talk: Exploring LGBTQ Identities Through Jewish Values

Monday, Jan 30 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Do you have a teen or know a teen? CRJ invites them to participate in this incredible training in partnership with Keshet.

This training is open to ALL TEENS in the community! RSVP required to attend (see below)

We are excited to welcome Tracey Labgold, Keshet’s Florida Education & Training Manager! Tracey will facilitate the training Teen Talk: Exploring LGBTQ Identities Through Jewish Values.

Description: We want our youth & teens to see themselves reflected in their Jewish communities as their full selves! Keshet’s Youth Trainings explore Queer identities through a lens of Jewish values. We empower students to embrace and affirm themselves and their peers and provide tools to help them become strong allies when they see harm or injustice. In a one-hour conversation we will talk about the importance of using affirming language, examine some implicit biases we all hold and discuss scenarios for taking action.

PIZZA DINNER PROVIDED TO ALL TEENS WHO RSVP

Questions? Please reach out to Dani Sobel, Director of Youth at dsobel@crjorlando.org
