When a friend is battling cancer … When conversations feel awkward … When words seem empty … What do you do?
Learn important skills to help you support loved ones who are battling cancer or other serious illnesses. Our discussion will be led by Sharsheret’s Florida Regional Director, Briana Schwarz, who will share advice, such as:
- What are the “right” and “wrong” things to say?
- How you can help someone who is ill while maintaining social distancing.
- What you can do to make a difference in the life of someone facing breast or ovarian cancer.
This discussion is brought to you free by the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando, but registration is requested. (You will receive the Zoom link when you register).
