Empowering Connections: Behind the Hustle

Tuesday, Feb 16 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Lyndi Stein, Owner of Littles Love food blog and Reardenstein Collective
Lyndi Stein graduated from the University of Florida in 2007 with a degree in electrical engineering. After several years in different aspects of the industry, Stein felt creatively stifled and shifted into a management consulting role while simultaneously working towards an MBA at Belmont University. Upon graduating with honors in 2014, Stein quickly transitioned into the world of entrepreneurship, owning a now-shuttered online bakery, a creative consulting firm and a catering company, which she recently sold.  She is currently working for a small business as a renewable energy consultant by assisting developers and investors on their potential solar and wind plants. She also spends her time baking with her daughter for her food blog, Littlest Love, and supporting her husband in their creative consulting company, The Reardenstein Collective. When she’s not creating or consulting, Stein loves to travel and listen to true crime podcasts.

Ella Ozery, Founder & CEO: Barbella Box
Ella launched Barbella Box in November 2015 out of necessity. At the time, there weren’t any subscription box services that provided a fun way to try out new brands in CrossFit, weightlifting, and the general fitness niche. Although there were other fitness boxes, none felt like they were made for her- someone who used a barbell during a workout. New companies and products were popping up daily and she realized that it was time for someone to provide an outlet to try those products.

Over the years, Ella realized there was more to this business than helping women try new products. Barbella Box has brought together a community of like-minded, strong, beautiful, and inspirational women now called “Barbellas” through a private Facebook Group called “Barbella Family”. This is a place where women can share stories, discussions, PR’s, workouts, recipes, inspirational words, advice, feedback on boxes, and basically communicate with each other in every aspect of their lives. Now, Barbella Box has shipped more than 300,000 boxes to over 65 different countries.

Danielle Barak, Financial Advisor
Danielle is a financial advisor who lives in Longwood with her husband, Sam and her daughter Esther (Esti).  Danielle started her financial planning practice when she realized that the community has a dire need for financial literacy. Raised by parents who worked in financial services, financial security has been in her blood since the day she was born. Her parents made sure that she started saving early. Danielle remembers coming home from babysitting jobs, and her parents would never fail to remind her that “half goes in the bank.” Finances have always been a family affair and from her parents is where she learned invaluable practical lessons about how to help clients achieve their short, mid, and long term goals.

Budgeting and financial security is not taught in the classroom, yet professionals are expected to know what to do with their money, how to pay down their debt, and how to save for education and retirement. Danielle is passionate about empowering future generations to have a better relationship with money. She enjoys fostering relationships with every person she encounters, and she takes pride in meeting her clients where they are when it comes to financial knowledge.

Danielle’s community involvement is also near and dear to her. She is involved the Jewish community including the Bornstein leadership program and the Chabad of Altamonte Springs, where her family attends. Danielle was recognized by the Orlando Business Journal as a 2020 Women Who Mean Business Honoree. She was acknowledged for her passion for working with women and helping them feel confident with their finances, as well as her Jewish heritage and background.
