Back in April, I announced that we were in the nascent stages of organizing a community trip to Israel next spring. As I mentioned then, as a community we have not embarked on a trip to Israel in more than two decades, so we want to do everything we can to make sure our journey back is a special one.
Our first leadership meeting in April resulted in some great ideas about how to make this trip (dubbed “2020 Vision: Our Community Trip to Israel”) inspirational on a personal level while helping the larger Central Florida Jewish community connect with our heritage in a deep and meaningful way.
If you were unable to attend our April meeting, you have one more chance to share your input before we begin advertising the trip to the community. At 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, we will meet in the Senior Lounge of The Roth Family Jewish Community Center to review the itinerary we have put together so far and to work through other details. I encourage you to join us and share your ideas about creating a truly unique experience for our Jewish community.
Hello Keith!
We have interest in the trip. Karen and Steve Selznick told us about it. Are you coming as well. They said that Lauren London is leading this. I would like to learn more. Thanks, Richard
